Backstreet Boys

About

We partnered with the infamous Backstreet Boys to develop an immersive interactive experience to promote their 2007 release, Unbreakable. 

With a modern color palette of chrome and jet-black and a sophisticated mix of fan offerings (e.g. fan club, newsletter, soundcheck photos, etc.), this site gives the Boys and their fans a space to truly connect.  

Problem

Returning from a two year hiatus, the Backstreet Boys wanted to come back with a BANG.  To do that, we created something unique for the fans who have been dedicated from the start and for those who are just catching the enthusiasm. 

The Solution

The concept was to take the users a little closer to the Boys by allowing them to "tour" individual busses and learn what the Boys are doing to pass the time on the road.

We shot all the bus scenes on green screen, which allowed us to create individual experience around each scene.

The Outcome

The website was hit with the fans,  spreading across forums and message boards like wildfire.
